It breaks down into three pieces with a replaceable core and end cap, so cleaning and servicing happen quickly without specialty tools. The AC30 is rated for .30 caliber cartridges up to .300 Win Mag, which covers favorites like .308 Win, 300 Blackout, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, and 7mm PRC. Metering shows sound levels around 133 dB on a 20 inch .308 barrel, a serious reduction that takes the crack out of your ears and off your hunting partners. Keep in mind it is rated for a controlled rate of fire, about one round per second for 20 rounds before letting it cool, so this is a hunting and precision can, not a mag dump machine.
