The Savage 110 Elite Precision LH skips all that. This is the full Elite Precision package, factory blueprinted 110 action and all, with the bolt and ejection port on the correct side for left-handed work. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 26 inch stainless barrel and a 1:8 twist, it is set up to push heavy, high BC bullets way out past where most rifles get uncomfortable.
Instead of dropping the barreled action into a basic stock, Savage partnered with Modular Driven Technologies and used their Adjustable Core Competition chassis, the same platform serious PRS and NRL competitors buy on its own. You get a full length ARCA rail along the forend for quick tripod and bipod adjustments, an adjustable stock with a 14 to 15.5 inch length of pull, and an MDT vertical grip that keeps your hand relaxed behind the trigger. At around 12.6 pounds bare, the rifle has the heft that lets it track straight under recoil so you can spot your own impacts.
The action gets treatment most folks pay a gunsmith for. Savage blueprints it at the factory, coats the bolt body in titanium nitride for slick cycling, and gives the stainless receiver a flash nitride finish. The user adjustable AccuTrigger runs from 1.5 to 4 pounds, so you can dial in a clean, light break without touching a screwdriver more than once. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 for your brake or suppressor of choice, and the receiver is optics ready with no iron sights in the way.
Feeding comes from a 10 round AICS pattern detachable box magazine, one of which ships with the rifle. Whether you are chasing steel at a thousand yards or working up handloads at the bench, this is a left-handed rig that gives up nothing to its right-handed twin.
Yes, this is a dedicated left-hand configuration, not a converted right-handed gun. The bolt handle and ejection port are both on the left side, so lefties can run the bolt without breaking their firing grip. Everything else, including the blueprinted action and MDT ACC chassis, matches the right-handed Elite Precision.
This left-hand 6.5 Creedmoor model ships with a threaded muzzle at 5/8-24 but does not include a brake in the box. That common thread pitch makes it easy to add your preferred brake or a suppressor. With 6.5 Creedmoor's mild recoil and the rifle's 12.6 pound weight, plenty of owners shoot it bare too.
The receiver comes optics ready with no iron sights, so plan on a quality scope from the start. Most buyers pair it with a first focal plane scope in the 5-25x range for long distance and competition use. The full length ARCA rail on the chassis also makes mounting bipods, tripods, and barricade accessories quick and simple.
