Yes, this model (32648) is a dedicated left-hand configuration with the bolt handle and port on the left side of the action. It is not a right-handed rifle with a swapped safety. Savage offers the entire Core Predator lineup in left-hand versions, which is rare in this category.
The 6mm ARC is a mild-recoiling round based on the 6.5 Grendel case that shoots flat and carries energy well past typical predator calling distances. It is a great fit for coyotes, foxes, and bobcats, and plenty of folks use it for target work out to 1,000 yards. In a 22 inch bolt gun barrel, you will squeeze more velocity out of it than the AR platform it was originally designed for.
