Savage partnered with PROOF Research to produce a purpose-driven Ultralite variant that minimizes weight without sacrificing the Savage 110 action’s established performance. At about 6 pounds, this left-hand configuration uses a carbon-fiber-wrapped stainless barrel and a melonite-finished skeletonized receiver to keep mass low for mountain hunting and extended field movement. The rifle includes Savage’s AccuFit system for adjustable length-of-pull and comb height, plus a user-adjustable AccuTrigger for a precise, repeatable break. The muzzle is threaded to 5/8×24 and the rifle accepts a detachable box magazine.
