This is the original equipment magazine that comes standard with the SAR9 Subcompact GEN2 pistol, designed to pair perfectly with SAR's compact 9mm platform. With 12 rounds of capacity, it hits the sweet spot for concealed carry without sacrificing firepower.
Built with stainless steel construction and a corrosion-resistant finish, the SAR9SC-12 is engineered to handle everyday carry conditions and regular range use. The high-tensile steel spring works with an injection-molded polymer follower to ensure smooth, consistent feeding under stress. Reinforced feed lips provide a snug fit without wobble, keeping things reliable whether you're on the range or depending on your pistol for protection.
Disassembly is straightforward thanks to the removable polymer floor plate, making cleaning and maintenance hassle-free. The compact footprint matches the SAR9 Subcompact's design perfectly, so it sits flush in the grip without adding unnecessary bulk. If you're looking to add spare magazines for your SAR9SC or want a replacement that matches the factory standard, this is the magazine that already comes with your pistol.
The SAR9SC-12 is specifically designed for the SAR9 Subcompact GEN1 and GEN2 models. While the SAR9 Subcompact maintains some cross-compatibility with other SAR9 family magazines, this one is optimized for the subcompact frame. If you own a different model in the lineup like the Compact or Full-Size, check your pistol documentation for compatible magazine options.
SAR Arms offers extended magazines for the SAR9 Subcompact in 15, 17, and 21-round capacities, and the subcompact pistol is compatible with all of them. These extended options feature magazine extensions that add length to the grip, giving you more capacity while maintaining the gun's subcompact footprint. They're ideal for range time or if you want extra firepower without swapping guns.
Yes. The removable polymer floor plate comes off easily, making it simple to disassemble the magazine for cleaning or maintenance. This is a practical feature for anyone who shoots regularly and wants to keep their gear in top condition.
The stainless steel construction with corrosion-resistant finish is built to withstand years of regular use in carry and training environments. The high-tensile steel spring and reinforced feed lips are engineered for long-term reliability. This is a factory magazine designed to the same standards as the pistol itself.
The SAR9 Subcompact GEN2 comes with two 12-round magazines from the factory. If you own a GEN1 or just want spares, this is the original SAR-made magazine that ensures perfect fit and reliable performance with your pistol.
