It feeds from AR-style magazines and includes one 10 round mag from the factory. That is a big practical advantage since 6.5 Grendel AR magazines are widely available and affordable. Make sure you grab magazines built specifically for 6.5 Grendel, as standard 5.56 AR mags will not feed the fatter Grendel case reliably.
