The ProMag CZ-A1 is a straightforward replacement magazine for CZ-75 platform pistols, designed to give you solid backup capacity without breaking the bank. This 15-rounder fits CZ-75, TZ-75, and Magnum Research Baby Eagle 9mm pistols, making it a practical choice for anyone with one of these proven double-stack pistols.
Built for Durability
The magazine body is constructed from heat-treated blued steel and secured with TIG welding, giving it the kind of durability you'd expect from a steel magazine. The follower, lock-plate, and base-plate are molded from DuPont Zytel polymer, which handles the wear and tear of loading and unloading without cracking or becoming brittle over time. The spring is precision-wound from heat-treated chrome silicon wire, engineered to maintain consistent pressure through all 15 rounds. ProMag puts each magazine through quality checks during assembly to keep standards consistent.
Practical Features
You get side-facing witness holes drilled into the magazine body so you can do a quick visual round count without removing it from your mag pouch. The impact-resistant polymer baseplate helps absorb shock if you're doing tactical reloads or running drills on the range. The compact footprint sits flush with the grip when inserted, keeping your carry profile clean.
Warranty and Reliability
Every ProMag CZ-A1 magazine comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. This USA-made magazine gives you a budget-friendly way to carry or keep spares on the range without sacrificing the basic reliability you need for function.
Yes, this magazine is designed to fit both CZ-75 and CZ-75B pistols, as well as TZ-75 and Magnum Research Baby Eagle variants. Some users have reported that fit can vary slightly between generations, and you may need to apply firm seating pressure on older models. Once seated, the magazine should function normally.
ProMag's 15-rounder is a budget option that functions well for range use and training. The basic design mirrors factory magazine geometry with steel construction and polymer followers. For duty or defensive carry, many prefer factory or MecGar magazines, but this ProMag works reliably for most shooters at a lower cost.
ProMag stands behind every magazine with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. If you experience a failure due to defective materials or workmanship, you can return the magazine to ProMag for replacement. Simply contact them directly through their website.
This magazine should work in most CZ-75 clones and variants like the Girsan MC28, EAA Witness, and TriStar models. However, CZ-75 magazine compatibility can be finicky across different manufacturers and generations. Test fit before relying on it for critical use, as some clones have slight dimension variations in the magazine well.
