Patriot Ordnance Factory took two platforms most people already know inside and out, the AR-15 and the Ruger 10/22, and rolled them into one seriously fun rimfire pistol. The Rebel P-SG runs a standard AR trigger group and safety selector, so everything sits right where your thumb expects it, and it feeds from common 10/22 pattern magazines. That combo means cheap ammo, cheap mags, and a control layout that transfers straight over to your centerfire AR. A 10 round magazine comes in the box, and since the mag well takes 10/22 pattern mags of just about any capacity, feeding this thing never gets expensive or complicated.
The upper is a monolithic anodized aluminum design with a full length Picatinny rail up top and M-LOK slots along the handguard, giving you a rock solid spot for a red dot, light, or hand stop. Under the handguard sits a 7 inch barrel threaded 1/2×28 and capped with POF's Enhanced Pressure Device, a faux suppressor style muzzle piece that helps the simple blowback action cycle reliably. Spin it off and the standard threads are ready for whatever muzzle accessory you prefer. Down below, an injection molded polymer lower keeps the whole package feather light, right around 3.25 pounds, without giving up durability.
The details show POF put real thought into this one. You get an oversized charging handle, an extended ambidextrous magazine release, and a Mission First Tactical Engage grip. The quick detach end cap accepts QD sling swivels, or it can be removed if you want to install a receiver extension.
