That bright chromed steel is matched to a camo walnut stock coated in Pedersoli's Silicon Grip film, which keeps the wood protected and gives your hands real purchase when everything is soaked.
Underneath the modern finish is the proven 86/71 action, Pedersoli's take on the Winchester 1886 as refined by the Model 71, a design that earned its reputation on heavy game long before any of us were born. The receiver is machined from solid billet, and the 19-inch PMG barrel uses broached rifling for accuracy that surprises people who assume lever guns are minute-of-pie-plate. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24, so hanging a suppressor or brake for night hog work is a five minute job.
