The One Hundred Concepts OHC ScopeCap Size 1 is a no-nonsense way to guard the rear lens of your optic from dust, rain, and the odd knock when your rifle is slung or riding in a case. Built for the ocular end of your scope, it runs a lower profile than most flip-up caps on the market, so it won't snag on gear or add clutter near your cheek weld. This is a single rear cap sized at 40.2mm (1.58 inches), not a front cap and not sold as a pair, so if you want to cover your objective lens too, you'll want to grab a front ScopeCap separately.

What Sets the OHC ScopeCap Apart

The signature flipper tab is molded right into the cap, giving you a quick tug point to swing it clear of the bezel when it's time to get behind the glass. When flipped off, it sits flatter than traditional spring-loaded flip caps, which is a nice touch if you run your optic hard. The whole thing is made in the USA from a durable, UV-resistant thermoplastic, so it holds up to sun, weather, and the general abuse that comes with real range and field time.

Fitting the Rear ScopeCap Size 1

Sizing is simple. Measure the outer diameter of the ocular housing on your scope and pick the cap that's equal to or just larger than that number. Size 1 covers optics measuring up to about 40.2mm at the rear, which lands it on the smaller end of OHC's rear cap lineup. If you're sitting right between sizes, round up for the best fit.

How It Mounts

Instead of threading or clamping onto your scope, the ScopeCap uses an included ranger band and shock cord to anchor in place. You slide the ranger band behind the bezel, tension the shock cord so there's no slack, and the cap rides snug without rattling during movement. It's a field-repairable setup, meaning if a cord ever wears out you can swap it without tossing the whole cap. You get two shock cord colors in the box so you can match it to your rifle or run whichever you like.
