The cylinder comes out of the frame to load. Put the hammer at half cock, press the button on the cylinder pin, pull the pin forward, and the cylinder drops free. Load your five rounds, reinstall the cylinder and pin, then rest the hammer in one of the safety notches between chambers for carry.
