Take the proven .22 Magnum mini platform, coat the stainless steel frame and barrel in rose gold Cerakote, top it with white pearlite grips, and you get a five-shot revolver that looks like jewelry but runs like a tool. At roughly 4.6 inches overall with a 1.125 inch barrel and a weight around 5.9 ounces, this thing hides in places most pocket pistols could only dream about.
Underneath the finish, this is the same all stainless steel single action design NAA has been building for decades. The exposed hammer stays in the white for a nice contrast against the rose gold, and the cylinder pairs rose gold with stainless accents to complete the look. The half moon front sight keeps the profile snag free, and the cylinder features NAA's safety notches, which let the hammer rest securely between chambers so you can carry all five rounds loaded with confidence. That simple, mechanical layout is a big part of why these little revolvers have such a loyal following. There is no magazine to top off and no slide to rack, just cock the hammer and press the trigger.
The .22 WMR chambering gives you noticeably more pop than the .22 LR version out of a short barrel, which is exactly why the Magnum minis are the most popular in the lineup. Just take the time to learn the loading procedure in the manual, since it works a little differently than a typical revolver.
No, this model ships with a .22 WMR cylinder only, so stick with 22 Magnum ammo. NAA does make convertible mini-revolvers that include both a .22 WMR and a .22 LR cylinder, but the Rose is a dedicated Magnum gun. The good news is .22 WMR gets a lot more done out of a short barrel than .22 LR does.
It should hold up very well. Cerakote is a ceramic based coating known for strong wear and corrosion resistance, and here it is applied over an already rust resistant stainless steel frame and barrel. Like any finish it can show wear over years of hard use, but it is far tougher than traditional decorative platings.
The Rose is single action only, which means you manually cock the exposed hammer before each shot, then press the trigger to fire. There is no double action pull and no trigger guard, keeping the profile as slim and snag free as possible. It is a simple, deliberate system that has been the backbone of the NAA mini lineup for decades.
