The Night Fision GLK004003WGW is a suppressor-height front and rear sight set built for Glock owners running a can, a slide-mounted optic, or both. The front sight and square-notch rear both wear a white outline ring with green tritium at the center, giving you a fast, high-contrast reference whether it is high noon or pitch dark. Because these sights sit taller than factory height, the front post stays visible above a suppressor and lines up to co-witness with most pistol red dots, so if your optic's battery dies or the lens fogs up you still have a usable sight picture without pulling the optic off.
Night Fision packs more tritium into these vials than a lot of night sights on the market, and pairs it with a domed lens that collimates the tritium rays into a sharper, more defined glow. The part people tend to notice is the Perfect Dot ring. Instead of a painted-on circle around an aluminum sleeve, Night Fision uses a patented injection-molded polymer sleeve that locks the vial in place and forms a brighter, more durable daytime ring. That polymer construction is a big reason these hold up to slide cycling and rough handling better than the older painted style.
The sight bodies are CNC machined from steel and finished in black nitride for wear and corrosion resistance, so they take holster wear and weather without looking beat up. This set covers a wide swath of the Glock lineup, fitting the 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, and 39 among others. Front sight width runs 0.140 inches. The tritium vials are sourced from Switzerland while the rest of the sight is made in the USA.
Installation is gunsmith recommended. A rear sight will usually need a proper pusher tool and the front typically calls for a Glock front sight tool, so if you do not have those on hand it is worth handing this off to someone who does.
Yes, these sit at suppressor height, which is tall enough to line up in the window of most slide-mounted pistol optics. If your red dot ever loses power or the lens gets obscured, you can still aim using the irons without removing the optic. Exact co-witness height depends on your specific optic and mounting setup, so it can range from lower-third to closer to absolute.
Absolutely. Plenty of folks run suppressor height sights purely to co-witness with a red dot, no can required. They also work as standard iron sights on their own if you just want brighter, taller sights with tritium.
Night Fision loads more tritium into these vials than many competing sights and uses a domed lens to sharpen the glow, so they read clearly in the dark. The Perfect Dot ring also glows in daylight thanks to a phosphorescent outline. Tritium is self-powered and typically stays useful for around a decade or more before it noticeably fades.
Night Fision recommends a gunsmith for installation. The rear usually needs a sight pusher and the front generally requires a Glock front sight tool to seat properly. If you have the right tools and some experience it is doable at home, otherwise a shop can knock it out quickly.
