It mates a machined mounting plate with a matching set of backup irons so your Holosun 509T sits low, locks in tight, and lines up with your sights the way it should. The plate is cut from 17-4 stainless steel and finished with a nitride coating, so it holds up to hard recoil and shrugs off the wear that comes with regular carry and range time. Night Fision builds these to tight tolerances, which is what keeps your dot from shifting and gives you a repeatable zero. It fits full-size and compact Glock MOS models like the 17, 19, 45, and 47, and works with the Holosun 509T along with other optics sharing that footprint.
This is the ZXZX configuration, meaning both the front and rear are blacked-out steel with no tritium. The rear carries anti-glare serrations to cut reflection, and the 330-353 blade height is dialed in for a lower 1/3 co-witness with the 509T. That means if your optic ever goes dark on you, the irons are right there in the lower portion of the window ready to get you back on target.
Night Fision includes extra mounting screws and an installation tool in the box, so you have the hardware on hand to get everything torqued down and squared away. The plate seats cleanly against the slide, and the sights drop into the standard dovetails.
