There is small, and then there is the North American Arms Mini-Revolver. This little five-shot single action is chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum and built entirely from corrosion-resistant 17-4 stainless steel, with a 1.625 inch barrel and a weight of just 6.5 ounces. The star of this particular model is the folding holster grip. The rugged black polymer sheath folds up against the bottom of the frame like a pocketknife, completely enclosing the trigger so the gun cannot be fired while folded. An ambidextrous clip lets you carry it inside the waistband, on a belt, or clipped in a pocket. When it is time to shoot, the grip swings open and locks positively into place, giving you a full-sized gripping surface that makes this tiny revolver noticeably easier to control than the standard bird's head grip. It locks in both the open and closed positions, so nothing flops around during carry or handling.
The cylinder features halfway notches between the chambers, which let the hammer rest securely off a live round while you carry all five chambers loaded.
