It is lighter than centerfire defensive calibers, but modern .22 Magnum defensive loads perform respectably out of short barrels, and the mild recoil makes fast, accurate follow-up shots much easier in an 11-ounce gun. Seven rounds on tap also beats the five or six you get from most small-frame revolvers. For recoil-sensitive folks, it is one of the most shootable pocket revolvers out there.
The 351C has a fully enclosed internal hammer and is double action only, while the 351PD uses an exposed hammer that allows single action shooting. Both are 7-shot AirLite J-Frames chambered in .22 WMR. The 351C is the better pick if snag-free pocket carry is the priority.
