When you've got a treestand to haul up the ridge or a load of gear riding in the truck bed, these Muddy Standard Duty Ratchet Straps give you four dependable tie-downs in one pack. Each strap measures 1 inch wide and stretches a full 10 feet, built from reinforced polyester webbing with coated S-hooks on the ends. They carry a 300lb working strength and a 900lb breaking strength, which is plenty of muscle for the kind of jobs hunters and outdoorsmen throw at them day in and day out.
Muddy originally built these with treestands and ladder stands in mind, but the truth is they earn their keep just about anywhere you need something cinched down tight. Strap a four-wheeler to a trailer, keep a cooler from sliding around in the bed, secure camping gear, or lash lumber down for the drive home. The 10-foot length gives you enough reach to wrap larger loads, and having four in the pack means you're not scrambling to find a spare when you need an extra one.
The reinforced polyester webbing holds up to weather and repeated use, so these won't fray out on you after a season of hard work. The vinyl-coated S-hooks bite into anchor points securely while that coating helps cut down on rust and keeps metal-on-metal scratching to a minimum. The ratchet mechanism lets you crank down steady tension and lock it in place, so your load stays put mile after mile.
Ratchet straps are one of those things you never regret owning more of. Toss a pack in the truck, the shed, or the deer camp gear box and you'll reach for them constantly. For the hunter who's always moving stands or hauling gear, this Muddy 4-pack is a workhorse that just gets the job done.
Each strap carries a 300lb working strength and a 900lb breaking strength. The working strength is the load you should actually plan around for everyday use, while the breaking strength is the point of failure under maximum stress. That gives you a solid margin for securing treestands, gear, and most trailer or truck-bed loads.
Muddy designed them with treestands and ladder stands in mind, but they handle a wide range of tie-down jobs. Folks use them to secure ATVs to trailers, keep cargo from shifting in truck beds, lash down camping and farm gear, or just as reliable replacement straps. The 10-foot length gives you enough reach for larger loads.
This is a 4-pack, so you get four individual ratchet straps. Each one measures 1 inch wide and 10 feet long with coated S-hooks on the ends. Having four on hand means you've always got a spare ready when a job calls for an extra tie-down.
The S-hooks are vinyl-coated, which helps fight off rust and cuts down on the metal-on-metal scratching you'd get from bare steel hooks. That coating also helps the hooks grip anchor points securely so they're less likely to slip loose.
