The Midwest Industries 5-Slot 1913 M-LOK Rail Section bolts directly to any M-LOK slot and gives you five slots of true 1913 mil-spec Picatinny to work with, so you can run optics mounts, backup sights, weapon lights, or a bipod without committing your whole handguard to one long stretch of rail.
This one is machined from 6061 aluminum and finished with a hard coat anodize, which is the reason folks reach for a metal section over polymer when the load matters. It shrugs off wear and holds accessories with zero flex, and at right around 4.3 inches long it covers a few M-LOK slots to clean up the look of your setup while adding almost nothing to the overall weight. If you've ever wanted the confidence that a heavier light or a repeatable optic mount isn't going anywhere, aluminum is the answer.
Installation is refreshingly simple. The M-LOK mounting hardware is included, so you drop the T-nuts into your handguard slots, snug the screws, and you're set. Position it forward for a light, back near the receiver for a sight, or anywhere in between. That flexibility is the whole point of running short rail sections instead of a full-length rail you don't need.

Yes, it's built to the M-LOK standard and mounts to any M-LOK compatible handguard or forend. The included T-nut hardware drops into the slots and locks the rail in place. As long as your handguard uses genuine M-LOK slots, you're good to go.
Anything designed for a standard Picatinny rail, since this is true 1913 mil-spec spacing. That covers weapon lights, backup iron sights, optic and red dot mounts, bipod adapters, and similar accessories. Five slots gives you enough real estate for most single accessories with room to position them where you want.
Aluminum handles heavier accessories and repeated recoil with no flex, which is why a lot of people prefer it for lights and optic mounts they want to stay put. The 6061 aluminum and hard coat anodize also stand up to wear better over the long haul. Polymer is lighter and cheaper, but metal is the pick when you want maximum hold and durability.
The M-LOK mounting hardware comes in the box, so you have what you need to install it right away. You'll just want a hex wrench to snug the screws down to spec. No extra parts run needed.
