The Mesa Tactical Saddlerail 4" MOS is built from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and wraps around the top of your Mossberg receiver to carry six shotshells on the left side, right where they're most accessible during a reload. Instead of plastic friction loops or flimsy designs, this saddle uses Mesa Tactical's rubber friction retention system that grips shells firmly without requiring any complicated fiddling. The shells stay put under recoil and hard shooting, but still slide in and out smoothly when you need them.
The 4-inch Picatinny rail mounted on top gives you real mounting flexibility. Add a red dot, reflex sight, or any standard optics without permanent modifications to your shotgun. The rail is mil-spec hard anodized for durability and sits clean on the receiver without interfering with your factory front bead sight. Installation is straightforward with basic tools and no gunsmithing required. The unit mounts using factory Mossberg trigger pins that get replaced with internally threaded steel pins, then bolts securely on both sides of the saddle.

A standard factory forend that overlaps the receiver will interfere with the saddle's operation.
