Description
Rimfire competition has exploded over the last few years, and MDT answered by adapting its flagship ACC Premier Gen2 chassis to fit the Ruger American Rimfire. This is the same platform serious PRS and NRL shooters run on their centerfire rigs, now sized for the little guns. Drop your barreled action in, tighten two screws, and you are done. No bedding, no gunsmithing, no headache. The whole thing is machined from hard-anodized 6061 aluminum and wears a Cerakote Flat Dark Earth finish that looks as good as it holds up.
What Sets the ACC Premier Gen2 Apart
The Gen2 borrows the good stuff from MDT's top-tier ACC Elite. You get a taller integrated barricade stop sitting at 1.75 inches, a thicker and more rigid forend that kills flex and torsion on props, and drilled-and-tapped holes along the top for NV and Control Bridge accessories. On the rimfire version the forend runs a compact 15 inches, which is a smart move for shorter rimfire barrels and keeps the balance point where you want it. A full-length integrated ARCA rail runs the length of the forend for bipods and tripods, and there are M-LOK slots on both sides plus the bottom for weights and gear.
Dialing In Balance With the Premier Gen2 Weight System
Where this chassis really earns its keep is the weight management setup. You can load interior weights inside the forend and hang external M-LOK weights on the sides, letting you tune balance and recoil behavior right at the range without pulling the action. A rimfire in a chassis this heavy tracks beautifully and settles fast between shots, which is exactly what you want ringing steel at distance.
Fit That Adjusts to You
The package includes the MDT SRS-X Lite buttstock and the MDT Vertical Grip – Premier. Length of pull adjusts in 1/4-inch spacers across a roughly 12.32 to 13.32 inch range, and the cheek riser adjusts for a proper weld behind glass. Add in the ambidextrous mag latch, QD sling cups, and a trigger-guard access hole for tuning trigger weight, and you have a rimfire trainer that mirrors your big-bore competition rifle down to the feel.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the ACC Premier Gen2 fit my Ruger American Rimfire without a gunsmith?
Yes. This chassis is cut specifically for the Ruger American Rimfire footprint, so installation is a drop-in job. You seat the barreled action into the V-block bedding and tighten two screws. No inletting or bedding work required.
Does the MDT ACC Premier Gen2 come with a buttstock and grip, or just the chassis?
The system ships with the MDT SRS-X Lite buttstock and the MDT Vertical Grip – Premier included. The buttstock gives you adjustable length of pull via spacers and an adjustable cheek riser. You can also run any AR-15 style grip if you prefer something different.
Why does the rimfire version have a 15-inch forend instead of the longer 19-inch one?
MDT shortened the forend to 15 inches specifically for rimfire and shorter-barreled builds, which are more common in the rimfire game. It comfortably clears barrels starting around 17 inches and keeps the balance point better suited to a lighter rimfire barrel. You still get the full-length ARCA rail and M-LOK real estate.
Can I add weight to tune the balance on this chassis?
Absolutely, and it's one of the best features here. You can install interior weights inside the forend and hang external M-LOK weights on the sides, plus add weight to the buttstock. This lets you dial in balance and recoil behavior right at the range without ever pulling the action out of the chassis.
