Description
MDT built the ACC Premier Gen2 to bring its winningest competition chassis to the Ruger American Rimfire, and it shows the moment you drop your action in. This is a full refresh of the original ACC Premier that borrows some of the best ideas from the ACC Elite, giving rimfire competitors a genuinely serious platform in a charcoal green Cerakote finish over hard anodized 6061 aluminum. With rimfire matches like NRL22 and PRS Rimfire growing fast, this is the kind of setup that lets a humble .22 keep up with the big centerfire builds on the line.
What the ACC Premier Gen2 Brings to a Ruger American Rimfire
The heart of this chassis is a compact 15-inch forend that comfortably runs barrels starting around 17 inches, so shorter rimfire barrels sit right where they should instead of hanging off the end. The forend is wide, thick, and flat to kill flex and torsion, which pays off when you load into barricades and props. A full-length integrated ARCA rail runs the underside for quick bipod and tripod changes, and there are eight M-LOK slots per side for weights, spare round holders, and other accessories.
Dialing In Balance With the Premier Gen2 Weight System
Balance is everything in positional shooting, and the ACC Premier Gen2 gives you a lot of room to tune it. You can add interior forend weights, exterior weights, and buttstock weight to settle the rifle where you want it so it tracks flat and finds targets faster. A taller integrated barricade stop and drilled holes along the top of the forend for MDT's night vision and Control Bridge system round out the competition-focused feature set.
Fit and Setup
The included MDT SRS-X Lite buttstock adjusts for length of pull and cheek height, and the MDT Vertical Grip – Premier lets you fine-tune hand placement. Setup is refreshingly simple: drop your barreled action into the V-block bedding, snug down two screws, and you are ready for the range with no gunsmithing needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which rifles does the ACC Premier Gen2 chassis fit?
This specific model is inletted for the Ruger American Rimfire. MDT also offers the ACC Premier Gen2 for other footprints like the Remington 700 short action, Tikka T1X, CZ 457, and Ruger 10/22, so make sure you match the chassis to your exact action.
Does this chassis come with a buttstock and grip, or is it the bare base?
This version ships as a complete setup with the MDT SRS-X Lite adjustable buttstock and the MDT Vertical Grip – Premier included. The buttstock adjusts for length of pull and cheek height, and the grip lets you tune hand placement, so you have a range-ready fit right out of the box.
What barrel length works best with the 15-inch forend?
The compact 15-inch forend is designed to comfortably clear barrels starting around 17 inches, which is a big reason it works so well for shorter rimfire builds. That shorter forend was a deliberate change to better fit the wide range of rimfire barrel profiles competitors run.
Is the ACC Premier Gen2 hard to install?
Not at all. You drop your barreled action into the V-block bedding and tighten two screws, and there is no gunsmithing involved. The V-block keeps the action seated consistently, which helps with repeatable accuracy once you get everything torqued down.
