MDT's Competitor LSS Gen3 in Flat Dark Earth is built for one thing: putting your Savage 110 short action on the podium. Instead of piecing together a chassis component by component, you get a complete, pre-configured competition setup that arrives dialed in and ready to shoot. The whole thing is built on the Gen3's three-piece architecture, which means the barreled action sits in a center base that never has to come out, so you keep your zero even when you start changing parts down the road.
The heart of this kit is the wide, flat Competition Forend with a 10-inch integrated ARCA rail. That flat profile and rail combo make barricade work feel automatic, whether you're clamping in a bipod or dropping the rifle onto a tripod between stages. It's drilled and tapped for Control and NV bridges, packs M-LOK slots and pockets on the sides and bottom, and includes an integrated barricade stop so nothing slides on you under pressure. Out back you get the SRS-X Lite buttstock with adjustable length of pull, and it plays nice with the M-LOK thumb shelf if you want to add one.
This version is cut specifically for right-hand Savage 110 short-action rifles. The aluminum V-block bedding gives the action a repeatable, rock-solid platform for consistent accuracy, and the barrel free-floats the way a precision setup should. It runs AICS-pattern magazines with an ambidextrous mag latch, so feeding stays reliable when you're pushing the pace. Installation is straightforward too, using MDT's supplied action screws with no bedding or gunsmithing required.

This chassis is configured specifically for right-hand Savage 110 short-action rifles. It's a drop-in fit that uses the included action screws with no bedding or gunsmithing needed. Just note that MDT has flagged that some newer Savage 110 models may not be compatible, so if you have a very recent production rifle it's worth confirming your specific model before ordering.
It runs AICS-pattern magazines, which are widely available and known for consistent feeding under match conditions. The chassis features an ambidextrous mag latch for easy releases from either side. Magazines are not included, so you'll want to grab AICS mags in your caliber separately.
Installation is simple and requires basic tools. You remove the barreled action from the factory stock, drop it into the chassis, and torque down the two supplied action screws to spec. MDT includes setup instructions in the box, which makes this friendly even for first-time chassis builders.
Even though it arrives as a complete competition-ready setup, the Gen3 platform stays fully modular. You can swap the grip, buttstock, and forend, or add weights, bridges, and accessories whenever your needs change. Because the barreled action stays in the center base, you keep your zero through those changes.
