The Worker is MDT's take on a no-nonsense chassis for folks who spend more time in the field than at the bench. This version drops your Ruger American AR-mag long action right-hand barreled action into a rugged aluminum chassis with a stripped-down, lightweight build that's easy to carry and quick to bring up. There's no bedding and no gunsmithing involved. You simply set your barreled action in place, tighten the two action screws, and you're ready to head out.
This is a pre-configured kit, but underneath it's the full LSS Gen3 platform. It comes set up with the LSS Gen3 chassis body, trigger guard, a Carbine buttstock interface, MDT's Elite pistol grip, and the CCS buttstock, along with the two socket head action screws you need to mount it. The whole thing is machined from 6061 aluminum and wears a durable Cerakote finish, so it holds up to truck beds, pack straps, and rough weather without complaint.
Where the Worker earns its name is portability. It's trimmed down and easy to run, which makes it a natural fit for hog hunts, coyote setups, fenceline patrol, or any rifle that lives behind the seat and needs to be ready at a moment's notice. It handles well for anyone from a first-time chassis owner to a seasoned hand.
The best part of building on the Gen3 base is that you're never boxed in. Down the line you can add an M-LOK or ARCA forend, switch to a different buttstock, or change out the grip as your needs shift, and you can do it without pulling the barreled action or messing up your optic zero. This particular model is inletted for the Ruger American in the AR-mag long action configuration, right-hand. Your barreled action drops right in with no bedding or gunsmithing needed, so double check that your rifle matches the AR-mag long action right-hand setup before ordering.
