The Magpul Hunter 110 is one of the easiest ways to make a Savage short action feel like a custom rifle without the custom price. Built for left-handed shooters running 3rd generation Savage Series 10/110 centerfire rifles, it drops right onto your barreled action with no bedding and no gunsmithing. The reinforced polymer shell wraps around a Type III hard anodized, machine-finished A380 cast aluminum V-bedding block, so the action sits on metal for a consistent, repeatable fit every time you tighten the screws.
Where the factory Accu-Stock leaves you stuck with whatever fit came in the box, this one adjusts to you. Length of pull runs from 13 to 15 inches using the included half-inch spacers, and the comb raises to line your eye up behind a scope. That combination makes a real difference behind glass, especially if you have ever fought a low comb trying to get a clean cheek weld. The 60-degree grip angle puts your trigger hand in a natural spot whether you are on a bench, a barricade, or a pack in the field.
The forend is where this stock earns its keep. It is wide and flat on the bottom, which gives you a stable platform off bags, a rest, or improvised support in the field. The tapered beam design keeps things rigid and free-floats compatible barrels, clearing profiles up to Medium Palma and Savage Varmint contours. The stock includes Magpul's Bolt Action Magazine Well and one 5-round 7.62 PMAG, so you are fed and ready to shoot out of the box. It accepts AICS-pattern detachable box magazines with no custom inletting, and eight M-LOK slots let you add bipods, sling hardware, or other gear. Push-button QD swivel compatibility is built into the rear for a quick sling setup. Made in the USA. Note that this is the left-hand version and fits Savage 110 short actions, not the Axis line.
It fits 3rd generation Savage short actions in the Series 10/110 with center-feed magazines and an action screw spacing of 4.40 inches, which covers production rifles from 2006 and later. This is the left-hand version, so it pairs with a left-hand action. It does not fit Savage Axis rifles, so check your model before ordering since Savage compatibility can vary from gun to gun.
