The Magpul CTR/MOE Cheek Riser adds a half inch of height to your comb so your face sits where it needs to be for a repeatable, comfortable cheek weld. It's molded from the same tough polymer Magpul is known for, comes in classic black, and clips right onto the top of your stock with no tools required.
This is a clip-on design that seats over the top of compatible Magpul stocks and locks into place. No hardware, no gunsmithing, no drilling. It's built specifically for the CTR and MOE line, and it also fits the DT and PR Carbine stocks in the Magpul family. The added surface area up top gives your face more real estate to settle into, which pays off during longer strings behind the sights when a sloppy cheek weld starts wearing on your neck and shoulders.
Magpul makes this riser in three heights so you can match the rise to how high your optic sits. The 0.50 inch version covered here is the middle option, and it's a popular pick for medium-height red dots and low-mounted scopes where a quarter inch isn't quite enough but three quarters is too much. If your rig runs a taller mount or a large objective scope, the 0.75 inch riser may line you up better.
One important note: this riser is designed for non AR15/M4 applications. On a standard AR platform it can interfere with charging handle function unless the stock is fully extended, since it sits in the path of the charging handle. It was originally developed for M14 carbine stock conversions and works great on those builds and similar setups. Like the rest of Magpul's furniture, it's made in the USA and built to take a beating.
