Magpul took the features you usually only find on bipods costing a whole lot more and packed them into something that mounts directly to your M-LOK handguard. The MAG933 is built from Mil-Spec hard anodized 6061 T-6 aluminum with stainless steel internals and reinforced injection-molded polymer, so it shrugs off forward loading and years of hard use while tipping the scale at just over 11 ounces. It attaches without an adapter and pulls off just as easily, which makes swapping it between rifles a non-event.
The spring-tensioned legs stow forward under the handguard for a clean, snag-free profile, then snap down and lock at 90 degrees with one hand. Leg extensions slide out and lock into seven half-inch detents at the push of a button, giving you a full four inches of adjustment from 6.3 to 10.3 inches. That range covers everything from a low prone position to shooting over taller cover or off uneven ground.
Where this one earns its keep is the movement. You get 50 degrees of total tilt and 40 degrees of total pan, plus Magpul's exclusive ability to lock pan at zero while keeping full tilt. A glove-friendly knurled locking knob handles those adjustments tool-free, so you can track a target or level up on a slope without fumbling. When the legs are folded, the soft rubber cap on the locking knob doubles as a non-marring forward rest, and the rubber feet keep a solid grip on most shooting surfaces.
One detail worth knowing: the legs accept most Atlas-pattern replaceable feet, aside from the 5-H style, so you can tune your traction to the ground you shoot on. It's made in the USA and holds up well to abuse, which is exactly why it's become a go-to for AR builds and precision setups where folks want stability without the premium weight or price.
It attaches directly to any M-LOK compatible handguard, no adapter needed. Installation and removal are simple with a 1/8-inch hex key or flat-head screwdriver, so moving it between rifles is quick. If your setup uses a Picatinny rail instead, Magpul makes a separate 1913 version.
