Yes. The Echelon platform is modular by design, and all official Springfield Echelon magazines for the same pistol variant use the same well and feed system. You can swap between the 10, 15, 17, and 20-round capacities as needed. If you move to a jurisdiction without capacity limits, you can use the standard 17 or 20-round mags without any issues.
Compact magazines won't fit in full-size Echelon pistols. However, full-size magazines will fit in the compact frame, though they'll extend below the grip. If you own both sizes, you can use full-size mags in the compact frame, but not the other way around.
The witness holes are drilled through the sidewall and numbered, so you can see exactly how many rounds are loaded without inserting the magazine or counting manually. This is especially useful in low-light situations or when you're loading up quickly and want a quick visual confirmation of your round count.
