This is the factory magazine for the Henry Homesteader 9mm carbine, designed specifically to handle 10 rounds of 9mm Luger. The magazine features black polymer construction that balances durability with low weight, making it easy to swap during extended shooting sessions at the range or when you need a backup mag ready to go.
The Homesteader uses a single-stack magazine design that pairs well with Henry's semi-auto blowback action. The straightforward construction and clean polymer finish mean there's nothing fancy to fuss with, just reliable performance out of the box. Users consistently report these magazines feeding everything from budget FMJ rounds to quality defensive loads without hesitation. The spring mechanism is robust enough to handle rapid reloading during range time without premature wear.
The 10-round capacity gives you a solid middle ground for shooting sessions. Each magazine loads smoothly and drops cleanly when you hit the release on the Homesteader. Since Henry ships the Homesteader with both a 5-rounder and 10-rounder, this 10-round mag makes an excellent spare for anyone who wants extra capacity without bulking up the rifle's profile. Unlike the Homesteader when outfitted with magazine well adapters for Glock or SIG mags, the Henry factory magazines maintain the rifle's classic appearance.
If you're the type who runs through a few hundred rounds on a weekend outing, having multiple magazines means you spend more time shooting and less time at the loading bench. The magazine's compact size tucks into a pack or vest pocket easily, and the durable polymer won't rattle or cause noise in the field. This is the same magazine that comes with the rifle, so you know it works with the Homesteader's unique mag catch design without any surprises.
No, this magazine is designed specifically for the Henry Homesteader's magazine catch and feed system. The Homesteader's unique single-stack design means it won't fit or function properly in other 9mm firearms. However, the Homesteader itself can accept Glock, SIG, or Smith & Wesson magazines if you install the optional magazine well adapters.
This magazine holds 10 rounds of 9mm Luger. The Homesteader also comes standard with a 5-round magazine, so having both gives you flexibility depending on what you're doing at the range or in the field.
Yes, the polymer is tough and built to last through heavy use. Field testers and owners regularly report hundreds of rounds through these magazines without issues. The material resists wear and the spring remains reliable even after extended shooting sessions.
No. This is a Henry factory magazine and only works with the standard Henry magazine well. If you want to use Glock, SIG, or Smith & Wesson magazines, you'll need to purchase the appropriate magazine well adapter separately and swap it on the Homesteader.
