Anyone who's run a pressure switch for a weapon light or IR laser knows the frustration of managing that cable. Zip ties snag on gear and leave sharp edges, rubber bands break down, and tape looks like a mess and never really holds. The Forward Controls Design PCM (Panel, Cable Management) was built to solve exactly that. Co-developed with Tactical Night Vision Company, it's an M-LOK panel that runs your cable underneath and keeps it locked down and protected instead of relying on friction.
The smart part here is the internal channel setup. The cable sits inside the panel, which means it can't get pulled loose without physically removing the panel itself. You can run a wire straight through, take it around a 90 degree corner, or even loop it back a full 180 degrees, so you've got a ton of flexibility depending on how your rifle is set up. The channels handle cables up to 0.140 inches in diameter, which covers most common Surefire, Crane/Insight, and Unity Tactical remote switch cables. There's also a built-in radius on the turns so your cable bends smoothly without kinking or getting pinched at sharp angles.
This single-slot panel is machined from solid aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum and finished with Type III hardcoat anodizing, so it holds up to hard use and keeps its finish. It wears FCD's signature AA "all angles" dimpled texture, the same grip pattern they've used on their bolt catches, mag release buttons, and forward assists for years. That texture gives you positive purchase on the handguard, and the open architecture actually helps with airflow and heat dissipation around the rail.
Since each panel only takes up a single M-LOK slot, you can stagger several of them side by side or place them across different rail faces to fully secure a longer cable run. It's a clean, purpose-built approach that treats cable management like it matters. Designed and made in the USA.
The internal channels handle cables up to 0.140 inches in diameter. That covers most common remote switch cables, including Surefire cables that average around 0.115 inches and thicker Unity Tactical cables at about 0.140 inches. It also works with typical Crane/Insight switch cables.
Instead of relying on friction like a zip tie or rubber band, the PCM routes the cable through an internal channel underneath the panel. Once the panel is mounted, the cable can't be pulled loose without removing the panel itself. That gives you a much more secure hold with no sharp edges or messy adhesive.

It ships with the M-LOK nut and bolt you need to mount it, one panel per package. Keep in mind it takes up one M-LOK slot, so make sure you've got an open slot where you want to route your wire.
