The Lee Precision 90933 Automatic Processing Press, better known as the APP, is the press reloaders reach for when they want to knock out case prep without babying every piece of brass. It is the first press of its kind that lets you mount a die at either the top or bottom, which opens up a level of automation you normally won't find on a single station setup. With a little over three inches of stroke, it handles everything from small pistol brass up to the larger belted magnum cases.
Think of this as your dedicated processing station. You can deprime, swage primer pockets, bulge bust, and size cast bullets as fast as you can work the handle. The X-press shell holder design is a big part of why it moves so quick, since it lets the case pass right through after the operation is done instead of making you stop and reset. The APP uses a frameless layout where nearly all the force travels straight through the steel linkages to the die rather than through a frame. The upper die carrier is counterbalanced by a centrally mounted coil spring, which keeps the handle from dropping on its own. It also works with standard press shell holders, giving you plenty of flexibility if you already have Lee gear on the bench.
