The foundation of what makes this pistol interesting is the PX4's rotating barrel. Rather than the traditional Browning tilt-barrel lockup, the barrel rotates roughly a quarter turn as it unlocks, spreading recoil energy over a longer dwell time and keeping the bore axis more stable through the firing cycle. It is a genuinely different shooting experience in a compact package, and it works. The 3.27-inch barrel keeps the overall footprint tight at 6.8 inches long, while the 15+1 capacity means you are not giving up much to get there.
The LTT trigger job is the centerpiece of this build. Langdon installs a DLC-coated Optimized Performance Trigger Bar that cuts the single-action reset down to roughly 1/10 of an inch — a reset so short and tactile it draws comparisons to top-end 1911 triggers. The double-action pull is smoothed out and kept at a manageable weight, making the transition from DA first shot to SA follow-ups feel natural rather than jarring. The gun ships with a spurless, bobbed hammer for snag-free carry and a Type-G decocker configuration, meaning the levers return immediately to the fire position after decocking with no manual safety to accidentally leave engaged.
The slide on the LTTPX4CCFNRR has been milled by LTT for their proprietary RMR footprint optic plate system. This is not a simple raw cut — LTT fits a machined adapter plate that includes an integrated backup rear sight matched in height to a corresponding front sight, so your irons co-witness correctly with whatever red dot you mount. The slide is re-Cerakoted after milling. Low-profile decocker levers and an extended magazine release round out the carry-specific ergonomics, keeping the exterior clean and snag-free for daily use.
The slide is milled for LTT's proprietary RMR footprint adapter plate, which is designed to fit Trijicon RMR and SRO footprint optics. LTT notes that while other brands may share the same mounting footprint, fit is not guaranteed for every optic that uses the RMR pattern, since body dimensions can vary. The adapter plate includes an integrated backup rear sight, so the system functions with or without a red dot mounted.

The Type-G setup converts the PX4's traditional safety/decocker lever to a decock-only function.
