The Beretta PX4 Storm has always been something of a hidden gem in the DA/SA world, and Langdon Tactical's version makes it impossible to overlook. Ernest Langdon has been building on the PX4 platform for years, and the LTTPX49MMTJ Px4 Storm Carry is the full-size expression of that work. Built on a black polymer frame with an integral Picatinny rail, it wears a serrated steel slide finished in a clean Sniper Gray Cerakote. The 4" steel barrel and DA/SA trigger system with decocker-only operation make this a classic hammer-fired experience, done right.
The heart of what makes an LTT pistol worth the premium is the trigger job. Langdon's competition trigger group pairs with a black DLC-coated optimized performance trigger bar and a reduced-weight hammer spring to produce one of the more refined DA/SA triggers you're going to find on a full-size production pistol. The single-action reset gets cut down dramatically, making follow-up shots noticeably tighter and faster than a stock PX4. The stealth levers replace the PX4's original bulky, sharp-edged safety wings with a much lower-profile decocker-only setup that reduces snag potential and keeps the overall width competitive with mainstream carry guns.
The PX4's rotating barrel system is the other big reason people seek this gun out. Unlike a traditional tilting barrel, the rotating barrel spreads recoil energy over a longer cycle, which translates to less muzzle flip and softer felt recoil shot to shot. Pair that with the already-light polymer frame and the LTT trigger work, and this thing shoots noticeably flatter than its size would suggest. The LTT Trigger Job is a professional in-house trigger enhancement performed by Langdon Tactical. It includes a competition trigger group, a black DLC-coated optimized performance trigger bar, and a reduced-weight hammer spring working together to smooth out both the double-action and single-action pulls. The result is a dramatically shorter single-action reset and cleaner, lighter trigger breaks compared to a stock PX4. It's widely regarded as one of the better DA/SA trigger jobs available on any production-based pistol.
The stealth levers replace the PX4's original oversized safety wings with a much lower-profile decocker-only design developed by Ernest Langdon. The stock PX4 levers are wide and have sharp edges that can dig into your hand during slide manipulation and add unnecessary width to the gun for carry purposes. The stealth levers slim the profile considerably, reduce snag risk on the draw, and convert the function to decocker-only, which is the preferred setup for a carry-configured DA/SA pistol.
Instead of the Browning-style tilting barrel most pistols use, the PX4 Storm's barrel rotates to lock and unlock during the firing cycle. This spreads recoil energy over a longer period and reduces muzzle flip compared to a tilting-barrel design of similar size. In practice, it makes the PX4 a noticeably soft shooter, which translates to faster and more accurate follow-up shots. Combined with the LTT trigger job, the result is a full-size 9mm that shoots considerably flatter than most people expect.
It was specifically built with carry use in mind, hence the stealth levers, Black Talon grip texture, and AmeriGlo night sights. At full-size dimensions with a 4" barrel and a 20+1 capacity ceiling, it sits in the same category as guns like the full-size M&P or Glock 17. It's on the larger end for concealed carry but handles well for duty carry, home defense, and competitive shooting. People who carry full-size guns regularly will find it well-configured for that purpose right out of the box.

The stock PX4 is a solid, reliable pistol but the trigger and control ergonomics leave room for improvement right out of the box. Langdon Tactical addresses both of those areas directly. The trigger job tightens up reset and smooths both pull weights, the stealth levers remove the uncomfortable stock safety wings, the extended magazine button speeds up reloads, and the addition of Talon grips and AmeriGlo night sights round out a package that would otherwise require multiple separate purchases and trips to a gunsmith. It's essentially a factory-optimized version of the platform.
