Description

There is a reason the Beretta 1301 has become the semi auto shotgun to beat, and the crew at Langdon Tactical took that platform and made it better everywhere it counts. The LTT1301ZMBLK starts life as a 1301 Mod 2 with the Pro Lifter and semi-flat trigger, then gets Langdon's in-house trigger job that smooths out the pull, evens up the consistency, and lightens it just a touch. Up front, the LTT Super Duty sight gives you a fast, clear aiming reference whether you are patterning buckshot or working a barricade drill.

Magpul Furniture Done the LTT Way

The furniture package is where this build stands apart from a factory 1301. Langdon fits a Magpul polymer stock with a built-in footman's loop for sling attachment, and pairs it with a Magpul Zhukov forend modified by GG&G that gives your support hand more real estate and consistent placement under recoil. QD sling mounting points are built right into the barrel clamp, so getting a two-point sling set up takes minutes, not a parts order. The black anodized aluminum receiver keeps weight down and the whole gun feels quick in the hands.

LTT 1301 Performance and Capacity

The 18.5 inch barrel is chambered for both 2.75 and 3 inch 12 gauge shells, and Beretta's Blink gas system cycles fast while soaking up a surprising amount of recoil for a defensive shotgun. Capacity runs 7+1 with standard length shells, which keeps you in the fight longer between reloads. The muzzle is threaded for Beretta's Optima choke system and ships with Cylinder and Improved Cylinder tubes, so you can tune your pattern to your load instead of living with whatever the barrel gives you.

Why Buy the Langdon Tactical Beretta 1301

Buying an LTT gun means skipping the pile of aftermarket parts, the gunsmith wait, and the guesswork. Everything on this shotgun was chosen and fitted by people who run these guns hard, and it shows the first time you shoulder it. For home defense, duty use, or shotgun classes, this one is set up right from day one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Langdon Tactical change on the LTT 1301 compared to a factory Beretta 1301?

This build starts with a Beretta 1301 Mod 2 that already has the Pro Lifter and semi-flat trigger, then Langdon adds their trigger job for a smoother, more consistent, slightly lighter pull. They also install the LTT Super Duty front sight, a Magpul stock, and a Magpul Zhukov forend modified by GG&G. It is the setup a lot of people build piecemeal, done professionally in one package.

Can the LTT1301ZMBLK shoot 3 inch shells?

Yes, the chamber handles both 2.75 and 3 inch 12 gauge shells. Keep in mind the 7+1 capacity is based on 2.75 inch shells, so running 3 inch magnums will drop the tube count by one. Most folks run standard length buckshot for defensive use anyway, and the gas system cycles it reliably.

Does the LTT Beretta 1301 accept choke tubes?

It does. The barrel is threaded for Beretta's Optima choke system, and this model ships with Cylinder and Improved Cylinder tubes. That lets you tighten or open your pattern depending on the buckshot or slug load you settle on, which is a nice edge over fixed-choke defensive shotguns.

How do I attach a sling to this Langdon 1301?

Sling setup is one of the strong points of this build. The barrel clamp has QD sling mounting points built in, and the Magpul stock comes with a footman's loop from the factory. A standard two-point sling with a QD swivel up front attaches with no extra hardware or drilling required.
