The Beretta 1301 earned its reputation as one of the fastest-cycling semi auto shotguns you can buy, and Langdon Tactical figured the smart move was to leave that foundation alone and upgrade everything around it. That's exactly what the LTT1301HZMBLK is. It starts life as a 1301 Mod 2 with the Pro Lifter and semi-flat trigger, then LTT's crew goes through it with their in-house trigger job to smooth out the pull and take a bit of weight off. From there they add the parts most owners end up buying separately anyway: an LTT Super Duty front sight, a heat shield over the 18.5 inch black oxide barrel, a Magpul stock, and a Magpul Zhukov forend modified by GG&G to fit the 1301 platform.
The Zhukov forend gives you more real estate and M-LOK compatibility for a light, while the heat shield keeps your support hand off a hot barrel during longer range sessions. Sling attachment is sorted too, with QD mounting points built into the barrel clamp and a footman's loop on the Magpul stock. The Pro Lifter deserves a mention as well, since it lets you run the loading port without pinched thumbs, and the enlarged controls on the Mod 2 receiver are easy to hit under stress or with gloves on.
The barrel is threaded for Beretta's Optima choke system and ships with Cylinder and Improved Cylinder tubes, so you can pattern buckshot the way you want instead of being stuck with a fixed bore. Capacity sits at 7+1 with the included Beretta magazine tube and a 3 inch chamber handles the full range of 12 gauge defensive and field loads. Everything arrives in a Condition 1 hard sided case, which is a nice touch at this level.
