Instead of relying on polymer alone, the L7AWM wraps hardened steel feed lips completely around the magazine body. This is the kind of detail that matters when you're running high-volume shooting or storing loaded magazines. Steel doesn't bend, deform, or crack under hard use the way polymer alone might. You also get an integrated front guard that adds stiffness to the entire mag, so rounds feed smoothly and the front face resists dimpling even after a lot of shooting.
The translucent clear body makes quick ammo checks effortless without opening pouches or handling your rifle. No guessing, no fumbling for a pen to mark your mags. This translucent design is impact and chemical resistant polymer that's been tested from -40F to +180F, so durability doesn't take a back seat to visibility.
A switchable drain lock sits in the floor plate and lets you configure the magazine for marine applications or extreme dust. Flip it one way for water-borne conditions, the other way for desert or sandy environments. The anti-tilt polymer follower and stainless steel spring handle feeding reliably across various ammo types. It's not compatible with Armalite AR-10B, Springfield M1A, Rock River LAR8, FN SCAR 17S, or rifles using M14, FAL, or HK91/G3 patterned mags. Always test fit your magazine in your rifle before use.
