The KRISS Vector is one of the more distinctive builds out there, and the stock handguard leaves you wanting more room to mount gear. That's exactly what the MK1 Modular Rail solves. It's a bolt-on extension that fits directly over the barrel shroud of your Gen 2 and Gen 2.1 Vector CRB, giving you a rigid, accessory-friendly platform without messing up the gun's signature silhouette.
The rail is machined from aluminum alloy and milled down to shave weight while keeping the structure stiff enough to hold zero on optics and lights. KRISS shaped it to follow the form factor of the Vector's body, so once it's installed it reads more like a factory feature than an add-on. It carries a hard anodized finish that matches the tough, no-nonsense character of the rest of the rifle.
Female threading runs along the three o'clock, six o'clock, and nine o'clock surfaces, which is where the included Picatinny side rail kit mounts up. No, this rail is built for the Gen 2 and Gen 2.1 Vector CRB only. The Gen 1 Vector has an integrated flashlight mount that gets in the way, so it won't bolt on cleanly. If you're running a Gen 1, KRISS makes the MK9 and MK11 rails for that platform instead.
The kit includes a 10-slot Picatinny rail plus a 7-slot side rail that ships pre-installed on the handguard, along with the mounting screws. So you get functional mounting surfaces right out of the box. Additional accessory rails for the other threaded positions are sold separately if you want to fill out all three.
