The KRISS Vector SDP G3 in .45 ACP uses the patented Super V Recoil Mitigation System, a delayed blowback setup that sends bolt energy down and behind the grip instead of straight back into your hands. Combine that with a bore axis that sits below the trigger and you get a .45 that stays remarkably flat during rapid strings. Follow-up shots come quick, and the big 230 grain rounds feel far softer than they have any right to.
The G3 update reworked both the upper and lower housings, and the changes are practical rather than cosmetic. You get an interchangeable AR-15 pattern pistol grip, an ambidextrous short throw safety, a reversible mag release, and a skeletonized single-stage trigger with minimal pre-travel. The M-LOK handguard replaces the older rail-heavy front end, keeping weight down while still giving you room for a light or hand stop. A full-length Picatinny top rail handles optics, flip-up front and rear sights come installed, and a rear Picatinny mount sits ready for a brace or stock setup where appropriate. Takedown is a simple four-pin, tool-free affair.
The 5.5 inch barrel is 4140 chrome moly with a black nitride QPQ finish, threaded .578×28 RH so mounting a .45 can is straightforward. A subsonic-by-nature cartridge like .45 ACP makes this one of the most satisfying suppressor hosts you can buy. Feeding comes from full-size Glock 21 pattern magazines, and this model ships with an extended 30 rounder, so mags are cheap, proven, and everywhere.
The Alpine white treatment gives the Vector a clean, striking look that photographs as good as it shoots. At 5.6 pounds and 15.35 inches overall, the SDP is the lightest, handiest member of the Vector family, well suited for home defense duty or just being the gun everyone at the range wants to try.
It feeds from full-size Glock 21 pattern .45 ACP magazines, and this model ships with one extended 30-round mag. Standard 13-round Glock 21 mags run fine too, and KRISS sells MagEx extension kits if you want to build more high-capacity mags. That Glock compatibility means spare magazines are affordable and easy to find.

That downward motion counteracts muzzle rise, and paired with the Vector's extremely low bore axis, the result is a .45 that stays noticeably flatter than conventional designs during rapid fire.
