Kimber took the 2K11 platform and asked a simple question: what if the compensator wasn't an add-on, but part of the gun itself? The 2K11 Pro Comp answers that with a comp machined directly into the slide and barrel, no threads to work loose and no extra parts hanging off the muzzle. The port vents gas upward to fight muzzle rise, and the difference is easy to feel. This 9mm stays flat through fast strings in a way most factory pistols just don't.
The commander-length 4.25 inch bull barrel is fluted, ramped, and finished in DLC along with the slide, giving the whole gun a tough, wear-resistant matte black look that holds up to hard range days. The slide wears lightening cuts and front and rear serrations, and it comes cut for RMR-footprint red dots with a TAG Precision adapter plate included. Prefer irons? The fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear give you a bright, precise picture out of the box. Yes. The slide is cut for RMR-footprint red dots and ships with a TAG Precision adapter plate. Just double check that your optic is a true RMR footprint rather than RMSc before mounting, since some popular enclosed-emitter dots use the smaller pattern. If you'd rather run irons, the fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights work great on their own.
