The 2K11 Pro Minotaur runs a 4.25 inch fluted bull barrel with a deep crown, 5R rifling, and a black DLC finish, sitting under a stainless slide dressed in distressed Sandstone Cerakote. That weathered, battle-worn look is the Minotaur's signature, and in person it pops even more than the photos suggest. The slide ships with a C&H Precision adapter plate cut for the Trijicon RMR footprint, which also covers popular Holosun options, and plates for other footprints are available if your dot of choice runs a different pattern. Yes, it ships optics ready with a C&H Precision adapter plate cut for the Trijicon RMR footprint, which also works with dots like the Holosun 407C, 507 series, and 508T. If you run a different footprint, Kimber offers additional C&H plates for the DPP, RMSc, ACRO, and 509T patterns. The fixed rear sight sits on a cover plate that comes off to expose the mounting cut.
The Pro is the commander-size version, trading the 5 inch barrel for a 4.25 inch fluted bull barrel and running flush 19-round magazines instead of 20. You keep all the same core features, including the GT match trigger, external extractor, tool-less guide rod, and optics-ready slide. The shorter package makes it noticeably easier to carry and conceal.
Kimber's GT match-grade trigger is rated at 3 to 4 pounds, and real-world pulls tend to land right in the middle of that range. It has a short takeup, a crisp break with zero creep, and a short, tactile reset. It is one of the best triggers you will find on a production double stack 1911.
The 2K11 Pro ships with two 19-round Check-Mate magazines built for Kimber's enhanced sub-frame geometry, so those are your best bet for reliable feeding.
