The carrier is cut to the M16 full-auto profile from aircraft and bearing quality 8620 steel, properly heat treated and precision ground before getting a chrome-lined phosphate finish for corrosion resistance and easy cleanup. The bolt is machined from a single piece of 9310 steel, heat treated, shot peened, and MPI tested so you know it's been inspected for hidden flaws. The firing pin is turned from 8740 steel and chrome plated, and the enhanced extractor is a one-piece billet part with a phosphate coating for reliable extraction round after round.
