Hang a suppressor off the end of a tilting-barrel pistol without a booster and there is a good chance it will choke. The JK Armament HUB Piston Mount solves that the right way. A spring-loaded piston lets the barrel move independently of the suppressor's mass, so short recoil pistols from Glocks to SIGs to just about every other modern centerfire semi-auto keep running the way they should.
The mount threads directly into the base of any suppressor with the industry-standard HUB 1-3/8×24 thread pitch, taking the place of a taper mount or other mounting accessory. That covers JK's own 155 line plus a long list of HUB-compatible cans from other makers, as long as the suppressor has roughly 1.8 inches of internal length to swallow the booster housing. This version includes the .578×28 piston, which is the common thread size on 45 ACP, 10mm, and most 40 caliber threaded pistol barrels. The piston itself is machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel, a tough, corrosion-resistant alloy that holds up to repeated mounting and thread wear over the long haul. This raw finish version shows off that bare stainless machining, and it will develop character over time the way well-used gun parts do.

Yes, as long as the suppressor uses the industry-standard HUB 1-3/8×24 thread pitch and has about 1.8 inches of internal length to accommodate the booster housing. It was designed around JK's 155 series but plays nicely with most HUB-compatible pistol and hybrid cans. Check your suppressor's internal clearance before ordering.
The .578×28 thread pitch is the standard for most threaded 45 ACP barrels, and it is also common on 10mm and .40 caliber threaded barrels. Popular hosts include the Glock 21 and 41, HK45, FNX-45 Tactical, and Glock 20 with an aftermarket threaded barrel. If your barrel is threaded .578×28, this piston will mate right up.
For most of them, yes. Modern centerfire pistols like Glocks and SIGs use a short recoil, tilting-barrel action, and the added weight of a suppressor can stop the barrel from unlocking properly, causing failures to cycle. The spring-loaded piston in this mount isolates the can from the moving barrel so the pistol runs reliably. Fixed-barrel guns are the main exception and do not need one.
You can. The piston is the only part that has to match your barrel threads, so picking up a 1/2×28 piston lets the same booster housing serve a 9mm host. That makes this a smart buy if you plan to suppress more than one pistol caliber down the road.
