The Hoppe's 3-Piece Aluminum Cleaning Rod is one of those bench staples that just quietly does its job for years. It's built to service rifles chambered in .22 caliber and larger, and because it threads together in three sections, it packs down small enough to toss in a range bag or drop in a drawer between cleanings. Fully assembled the rod measures 32.5 inches of cleaning length, with an overall length of 34.5 inches once you factor in the handle.
The standout here is the ball-bearing swivel T-handle. As you run a patch or brush down the bore, the handle lets the rod rotate freely and follow the barrel's rifling instead of fighting it.
