Your zero follows the UMC, not the stock, so moving rifles between stocks maintains your point of aim without re-zeroing. The aluminum UMC is machined from T6 6061 billet and hard anodized for durability.
The HALO accepts standard AICS magazines with zero gunsmithing required. Short action setups run conventional short AICS mags, while long actions feed from 3.715 inch or 3.850 inch variants depending on your UMC model. No bottom metal needed. The forend stretches 12.5 inches with a muzzle tip diameter of .925 inch, accommodating everything from hunting contours to the heavier Proof Research Carbon Sendero barrels.
