It bolts onto your KeyMod slots and gives you five slots of standard MIL-STD-1913 rail to work with, so your lights, lasers, foregrips, and sights drop right on without any adapter gymnastics.
GrovTec builds this piece by CNC machining it out of solid, lightweight aluminum and then finishing it with a Type III black hardcoat anodize. That combination keeps weight down while giving you a surface that shrugs off the normal scuffs and abuse a handguard sees. At 2.2 inches with five slots, it is short and purposeful, which makes it a smart choice when you only need a mounting point for one accessory and do not want to add bulk or weight to the front end of your rifle.
