The Grip Pod GPS.02 solves a problem plenty of rifle builds run into: you want the control of a vertical foregrip, but you also want a bipod ready when you drop into prone. This one gives you both in a single unit. Grab it like a normal foregrip for close work, then hit the button and a pair of spring-loaded legs deploys almost instantly for a stable rest. Fold them back up and it disappears into the grip body again. No swapping parts, no reaching forward to fumble with a separate bipod.
This is the Military Model, which means the legs aren't just polymer. They're stainless steel rods wrapped in hardened polymer, which is where the toughness comes from. Grip Pod rates the design to hold up under serious load, and it's the same style of unit that's seen real use on M4s and M249s downrange. The tradeoff for packing legs inside is a grip that runs a touch wider than a plain vertical grip, so if you've run skinny grips before, expect a slightly fuller handful. Most folks adjust to it quickly and appreciate the extra to hold onto.
The cam lever version is the quick attach and detach setup. It clamps down onto a mil-standard 1913 Picatinny rail and pops off without tools when you need to move it. The clamp comes preset from the factory to fit standard rail, and there's a hex adjustment so you can fine-tune how tight it grabs depending on your rifle and how you like it to sit. The release button takes a deliberate push to fire the legs, which keeps them from popping open if you bump the grip against gear or a doorway.
Closed up it measures 5.75 inches and stands 8.25 inches with the legs out, spreading to a 7.25-inch stance. At around 7 ounces it won't throw off your rifle's balance, making it a practical pick for AR-15, M4, and similar builds where you want grip and bipod without hauling two separate accessories.
There's a button near the top front of the grip that releases the spring-loaded legs. Push it and both legs snap out into their locked, spread position in a fraction of a second, no reaching forward required. To fold them back, you press the legs together and slide the assembly back up into the grip body until it locks.
It mounts to any firearm with a mil-standard 1913 Picatinny rail in a spot where you'd want a vertical foregrip. That covers AR-15, M4, M16, and .308 AR-type rifles, and folks run them on plenty of other platforms too. The cam lever comes factory set for standard rail, and a hex adjustment lets you tweak the clamp tension for a snug fit.

That's what gives them the strength to handle a real load and hold up to hard use, unlike the fully polymer law enforcement version. The grip body itself is reinforced polymer to keep the overall weight down.
