Sized at 5 inches for common rimfire suppressors and finished in a versatile tan, it traps and manages surface heat so the mirage stays out of your optic and your groups stay where they belong.
The outer shell is 1000D nylon, the same heavy-duty fabric you find on serious range bags and packs, so it shrugs off brush, bench wear, and general range abuse. Inside, a heat-resistant fiberglass and silicone lining stands between you and a hot suppressor body. That means fewer singed fingers when you go to case the rifle, and less worry about a warm can resting against your pack, sling, or shooting mat between strings.
Plenty of covers fit fine until the shooting starts, then walk their way toward the muzzle. GPS solved that with a simple tether line that anchors the cover and keeps it from sliding forward during a long string of fire. Wrap it on, snug it down, and forget about it. For a centerfire rifle suppressor, you'll want a cover sized and rated for that setup. GPS makes this cover line in 6 and 7.5 inch lengths for larger suppressors.
More than you might expect. After a few magazines, even a rimfire can gets hot enough to throw visible mirage right through your optic, and that shimmer makes precise shots harder.
