The standard Glock 43X is one of the best carry guns ever made, but it leaves a few things on the table: capacity, a threaded barrel, and an optic cut. The Blackout #2 from Shark Coast Tactical checks all three boxes on one gun. This is a genuine 43X underneath, reworked with a full blackout Cerakote finish, a Zaffiri Precision 1/2×28 threaded barrel, and a slide milled for RMSc footprint optics. It ships with two 15-round magazines, which is a serious jump from the 10-round factory mags without adding any grip length.
The frame gets a hybrid stipple treatment that grips your hand noticeably better than bare polymer, especially with sweaty hands or gloves. Finger grooves are gone, front serrations are added, and the whole gun wears a matte black Cerakote that ties it together. The 3.92 inch Zaffiri barrel extends just past the slide with standard 1/2×28 threads, so it takes most 9mm suppressors and compensators without adapters. Suppressor height sights sit tall enough to see over a mounted can and give you a lower third co-witness with most micro red dots.
At its core this is still a slim, single-stack-width 9mm that carries like a 43X because it is one. The striker-fired action and controls are pure Glock, so parts, holsters, and muscle memory all transfer. Keep in mind the slide only accepts RMSc and RMSc-footprint optics, and you'll want to use the mounting screws Shark Coast includes when you install one. If you've been wanting a suppressor host that still disappears under a t-shirt, this build gets you there without sending your own gun off for custom work.
The slide is cut for the RMSc footprint, so micro red dots like the Holosun 507K, Shield RMSc, and similar RMSc-pattern optics will mount directly. Larger footprints like the full-size RMR will not fit without an adapter plate. Be sure to use the mounting screws Shark Coast Tactical includes with the gun, since standard optic screws may not seat correctly in this cut.
This build ships with two 15-round steel magazines that use staggered round geometry to fit five extra rounds in the same flush-fit length as the OEM 10-round mag. You get a 50% capacity bump with zero change to the grip length, which is a big part of why this setup is so popular for carry.
The Zaffiri Precision barrel uses 1/2×28 threads, which is the standard pitch for 9mm suppressors and muzzle devices in the US. Most 9mm cans, compensators, and thread protectors will spin right on. The suppressor height sights are tall enough to aim over a mounted can and co-witness with most micro red dots.
It's a genuine Glock 43X that Shark Coast Tactical customizes with the Cerakote finish, hybrid frame stippling, optic cut, and Zaffiri threaded barrel. The internals, trigger, and controls are factory Glock, so reliability, holster fit, and parts availability are what you'd expect from the 43X platform.
