Most Glocks come in one color, and you know exactly which one. This exclusive 43X MOS breaks that mold in a big way. Shark Coast Tactical takes the standard 43X MOS and dresses it in a custom Bubblegum pink Cerakote finish, then swaps in one of their threaded barrels so the fun factor comes with real function. Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating with a well-earned reputation for shrugging off holster wear, sweat, and range abuse, so this is not a paint job that fades after a summer of carry.
The 43X hits a sweet spot a lot of carry pistols miss. The slim Slimline frame keeps the width down for comfortable concealment, while the longer grip gives you a full purchase with all three fingers, something the smaller G43 cannot offer. You get 10 rounds in the flush-fit magazine, Glock's famously simple Safe Action striker-fired trigger, and the kind of reliability that made this brand the default answer at gun counters everywhere. The MOS slide cut accepts popular RMSc-footprint micro red dots, and the Glock Slim Mounting Rail up front handles compact lights and lasers.
The Shark Coast Tactical threaded barrel measures 3.92 inches and lets you run a suppressor or other muzzle device without hunting down aftermarket parts. Suppressor-height sights come standard, so you can see over a mounted can or cowitness through a red dot without any extra work.
This one tends to fly off the shelf as a first pistol, a gift for someone who wants their carry gun to have some flair, or a range gun that stands out in a sea of black polymer. The color gets attention, but the platform underneath is the same 43X MOS trusted for everyday carry by thousands of people. Fun to look at, easy to shoot, and built to run.
The 43X MOS slide is milled for RMSc-footprint micro optics, which covers popular choices like the Shield RMSc, Holosun 507K and EPS Carry, and the Swampfox Sentinel. Optics mount directly to the slide without an adapter plate. The suppressor-height sights on this model sit tall enough to cowitness with most compact red dots.
Cerakote is one of the toughest finishes in the business, a ceramic-based coating known for resisting scratches, holster wear, and corrosion far better than standard spray-on paint. With normal carry and range use it holds its color well. Like any finish it can show wear at high-friction points over years of hard use, which is normal for any coated firearm.
That is exactly what it is set up for. The Shark Coast Tactical threaded barrel uses the standard 1/2×28 thread pitch found on nearly all 9mm suppressors and muzzle devices, and the suppressor-height sights let you aim over a mounted can. If you are not running a suppressor, keep a thread protector on it to keep the threads clean.
Yes, this is a factory Glock 43X underneath the custom finish, so any factory 43X or 48 magazine will run in it. It ships with two 10-round magazines, and extended aftermarket options are widely available if you want more capacity on hand. Magazine compatibility is one of the perks of building on such a popular platform.
