You still get everything that makes the G19 a go-to compact: a 4.02-inch barrel, striker-fired Safe Action system, and 15+1 capacity in a size that balances concealability with real shootability.
The porting is the standout here. Cutting gas through the top of the barrel and slide helps tame muzzle rise, so follow-up shots come back on target quicker and the gun stays flatter through a string of fire. The Sniper Grey Cerakote isn't just about looks either. It's a tough, wear-resistant coating that holds up to holster use and keeps corrosion at bay.
Glock redesigned the Gen 6 frame around real hands. You get an integrated palm swell that fills the grip naturally, the new RTF6 texture that blends grip and comfort without chewing up your palm, and an enlarged beavertail that lets you ride high on the gun while the slide cycles clean. The undercut trigger guard and extended thumb rest help you lock in for better control, and a flat-faced trigger gives you consistent finger placement and a predictable break.
This is an ORS (Optic Ready Slide) model, so the Gen 6 mounting system is already cut and waiting. The pistol ships with three polymer optic plates covering the most common footprints, so mounting a red dot like a Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, or C-More style optic doesn't require aftermarket parts to get started. The slide also carries front and rear serrations angled deeper for easier manipulation, plus an enlarged border around the slide stop to help prevent accidental activation.

Keep in mind the Gen 6 plates are not interchangeable with Gen 5 MOS plates.
