There is a reason the 92 pattern has stuck around for decades, and the Girsan Regard MC leans into all of it. This is a full-size 9mm built on the same open-slide design that served the US military for over 30 years, made by Girsan in Turkey, where the Regard has been a longtime military and law enforcement sidearm. You get the familiar DA/SA trigger, a slide-mounted ambidextrous safety, and an aluminum alloy frame that keeps the whole package right around 33 ounces. This version wears a Flat Dark Earth finish on both the frame and slide, which looks sharp and adds a layer of corrosion resistance over the standard black.
The 4.9 inch barrel gives you a long sight radius, and the drift adjustable sights make it easy to dial in your preferred load. Capacity is a generous 18+1, and here is the detail a lot of folks miss: the Regard MC runs standard Beretta 92 magazines, OEM or aftermarket. That means cheap, plentiful mags are a quick order away. Girsan also added a Picatinny accessory rail under the dust cover, something the classic 92FS never had, so mounting a weapon light for home defense is no problem. The finger-grooved polymer grip and serrated slide round out a pistol that handles the way a full-size service gun should.
Owners consistently report the Regard MC runs smooth, feeds everything, and holds its own next to pistols costing quite a bit more. Veterans who carried the M9 tend to feel right at home with it. Whether you want a range gun that soaks up recoil, a nightstand pistol with real capacity, or just a well-built DA/SA to learn the platform on, this one delivers without emptying your wallet.
Full-size 9mm, 4.9 inch barrel, 18+1 capacity, aluminum alloy frame, steel slide, ambidextrous safety, accessory rail, and that clean FDE finish front to back. It ships with one 18-round magazine and covers range days, home defense, and duty-style use with equal comfort.
Yes, and that is one of its biggest perks. The Regard MC runs standard OEM and aftermarket Beretta 92 magazines, so finding spares is easy and affordable. The included factory magazine holds 18 rounds.
It is. The first pull can be fired double action with single action follow-ups, just like the M9 and 92FS it is patterned after. The slide-mounted ambidextrous safety operates the same way too, so anyone familiar with the 92 platform will feel right at home.
Yes. Unlike the classic 92FS, the Regard MC includes a Picatinny accessory rail under the dust cover. That makes it simple to mount a weapon light or laser, which is a big plus if you plan to use it for home defense.
It is. This model wears Flat Dark Earth on the frame and the slide for a matched look, with finger-grooved polymer grips. Beyond looks, the finish adds corrosion and scratch resistance to help the pistol hold up over years of use.
